When you order a beef box from us, it comes from one place: our ranch and processing facility in Parker County and Springtown, Texas. There is no third-party fulfillment warehouse, no beef sourced from a broker and repackaged under our name. Here is the actual chain from start to finish.
The Cattle
Our beef comes from cattle raised on our own land in Parker County. Four generations of our family have been in the cattle business here. The animals graze on Texas pasture, are managed by our team, and go to our processing facility in Springtown when they reach the right weight and condition.
USDA-Inspected Processing
Our Springtown facility operates under USDA inspection — every animal that goes through it is inspected before and after processing. USDA inspection is the federal standard that means the facility, the process, and the product meet food safety requirements set and monitored by the United States Department of Agriculture. It is not a marketing claim. It is a federal requirement that we maintain continuously.
Cutting and Packaging
After processing, beef is cut to specification by our team. The cuts in our beef boxes follow consistent sizing and weight standards so that what you receive matches what we describe. Every package is vacuum sealed on our equipment — vacuum sealing removes oxygen from the package, which is the primary cause of freezer burn and oxidation. A properly vacuum-sealed package at 0°F maintains quality for 12 months or more.
Every package is labeled with the cut name, weight, and date. You will never open a box and find an unidentified piece of beef.
Shipping
Boxes are packed with insulation and dry ice or gel packs appropriate for the transit distance and expected delivery time. The goal is to deliver everything still frozen or in a partially thawed state that is safe to go directly into the freezer. If something arrives fully thawed but still cold, it can go into the refrigerator and should be cooked within 3 to 5 days.
Why This Matters
Most beef sold in America passes through a chain of brokers, packers, distributors, and retailers. Each step adds cost and time, and traceability gets harder at each stage. Our model removes most of those steps. You are buying beef from the family that raised it, processed it, and shipped it. That is the whole story.
