Butcher Shop Near Weatherford, TX — Common Questions
Where can I find a custom butcher shop near Weatherford, TX?
Parker County Beef Company is the closest custom butcher shop to Weatherford, located just 10 miles east at 2127 E Hwy 199 in Springtown, TX — about a 10-minute drive on Hwy 199. Unlike a grocery store meat counter, we offer fully custom cuts, made-to-order grind ratios, whole and half beef processing, and bulk beef packages. Weatherford customers make the short drive regularly and leave with exactly what they came for, often at a better price per pound than anything available locally. Call us at 817-404-7405 or visit us in Springtown to get started.
Does Parker County Beef Company do beef processing near Weatherford?
Yes — custom beef processing is one of our core services. If you've purchased a whole beef, half beef, or quarter beef and need it processed, we handle the entire job: hanging weight intake, custom cut sheet, aging, fabrication, vacuum sealing, labeling, and freezer-ready packaging. We serve ranchers, families, and co-ops from Weatherford and all of Parker County who want their beef processed properly. Turnaround times vary by season, so we recommend calling ahead to schedule. Visit our beef processing page for full details.

What makes Parker County Beef Company better than a grocery store near Weatherford?
The short answer: everything that matters. A grocery store meat counter is staffed by clerks working with pre-cut, pre-packaged product from a centralized supply chain you know nothing about. Parker County Beef Company is a real butcher shop — we cut to your specifications, grind to your preferred lean-to-fat ratio, and package the way you want it. Our beef comes from Texas ranches, not a mystery distribution hub. We're locally owned and operated by a Parker County family that has been raising cattle for generations. Once Weatherford customers make their first trip out, they rarely go back to grocery store beef.
