Where does your beef come from?
Our Parker County Beef Company steers are raised, finished, and processed in-house. Our Pure Pasture brand consists of Longhorn cattle sourced from local ranchers in North Texas.
What are your cattle-raising practices?
Our cattle are raised on pasture and finished on locally sourced grains, just as our family has done for over 100 years. Our Pure Pasture line is 100% grass-fed and grass-finished.
Do you use any hormones or antibiotics?
No, we do not use any hormones or antibiotics in our beef program.
Do you vaccinate your cattle?
Yes, we use a standard 5- or 7-way vaccine on our cattle and calves to prevent herd diseases.
Ordering and Subscription
Do you offer subscription plans?
Yes! Customers can subscribe to any product and save 10%. Subscription orders can be paused, skipped, or canceled anytime by messaging, emailing, or calling us.
Can I choose specific cuts of beef?
Yes! You can build your own box from our individual cuts or choose from our curated beef boxes.
Can I add extra products to my order?
Absolutely! Customers can add individual items to any shipment, whether they build their own box or choose a curated selection.
Do you offer bulk purchasing?
Yes, we offer bulk purchasing options with limited customization that mirrors the traditional freezer beef process. You can find these options in our Bulk Beef Collection.
Shipping and Delivery
Where do you ship?
We ship nationwide, except for Alaska and Hawaii.
How does shipping work?
- Orders ship Monday-Wednesday the week following your order.
- Shipping typically takes 1-4 days in transit.
- We use UPS Ground and ship with dry ice to maintain freshness.
- Customers receive tracking emails when their order ships, is out for delivery, and is delivered.
Packaging and Storage
How is your beef packaged?
All of our products are vacuum-sealed for maximum freshness. Ground products and steaks use roll stock vacuum packaging, the premier packaging method for long shelf life. Roasts, ribs, and other cuts are sealed in vacuum bags.
How should I store my beef?
- Frozen products should be immediately placed in the freezer or refrigerator upon arrival.
- Frozen beef has a shelf life of up to one year.
